How about the ever-popular phrase, 'wow, I wish I could make characters that looked half as good?' Making a 'beautiful' character in Oblivion is easier than many. Oblivion Beauty Mods
You can change the hair's colour in game, but cannot change the length. This mod does not replace any of the games heads.
I recently followed all the guides I could find and installed Ren's beauty Pack almsot perfectly. I have the eyes, faces, tattos, bodies, etc. Of Ren's Mystic Elves.
I cannot get the hairs to load, though. I have placed the large number of hair files inside the Oblivion/Data/Textures and Oblivion/Data/Meshes folders, inside Oblivion/Data/ folder, and in Oblivion/ folder. STILL there are no hairs.
I can select and scroll through them, but nothign shows up. I don't get to the tunnel part of the dungeon, I have only tried the beginning where you make your character the ifirst time.
I would LARGELY appreciate any help to get me past this last block.UR84N. Sounds good.I have great news!I have solved the issue with the Ren's Hair not showing up.
Turns out I just wasn't placing things properly, and I put in too many mods at once, yadda yadda. I activated my backup files, and presto, I'm back to Vanilla version. I started again, and have the hairs working perfectly. I decided not to go with Ren's Beauty Package, but with the Lineage II elves (which uses ren's hair).Of course, now that that is solved, I have another issue: the game crashes. I had uninstalled oblivion a long time ago, and forgot why, so I put it back on recently.
However, when I'm playing, the screen goes into a fuzzy mod, where I must use CNTRL+ALT+DELETE to get back to the desktop. I then can go back into oblivion by maximizing it back to the screen. However, as soon as it comes back up, the mouse won't move. Sounds are still operable, and I can still bring down the Command menu (via ), but otherwise the game is frozen on the pause or inventory menu.I hope this doesn't discourage you, but I am ready and willing to go headfirst into this problem, and get oblivion running again!I tried operating on just Vanilla Oblivion, but it still crashes. I went through a ful uninstall and reinstall, and it still crashes.
I've put all my cosmetic mods back on, and I'm ready to solve this.I'll list the new mod load order I have. I do use Oblivion Mod Manager, only to select the urgency of the mod load.

I'm running version 1.2, and I've included my recent DxDiag to the post.By the way, all of the mods are fully operational. But the game still crashes after about 5-10 minutes.Really irksome.Thank you!36.76KB 0 downloads. Wait, wait, wait.So should I get the new version of streamline, and the patch, or just take it off?I only put streamline in there to even out all the mods I'd put in. However, ever since the game's combat has been choppy and, well.not pretty.I was trying to show off the game to a friend, and he was commenting about how choppy the fighting was.Too true. The chop-rate is terrible in my game.I just took Streamline out, and I'm going to test the game later. I don't have time now, but I am anxious to try it.Thanks again =.
