Viswanatha Raju hailed from a small hamlet in Andhra Pradesh and migrated to Hyderabad. He entered into the granite business and established a vast empire. Viswanatha Raju and his wife Rajeswari were blessed with two sons and a daughter. His sons Madhava Raju and Kalyan Raju were assisting him in his business. His daughter is Mahalakshmi.
